GreenShield is based on a revolutionary patented organo-silane technology (OST) developed by the company. GreenShield is designed to shield wood and paper materials such as lumber, log, plywood, dry wall, and others from the outside environment such as water, moisture, and even fire.

GreenShield penetrates and encapsulates the material at a molecular level creating a composite material of wood (or paper) and a type of ceramic. It is totally organic, and can be applied by brush, spray, dipping, or pressure treatment process. It is a clear thin liquid and crystallizes within the material in very short time only reacting with the moisture in the air and the material itself. GreenShield will not change the color of the material.
