Starting this month, people who test for mold and remove it will have to have a state license — and some Lee County mold specialists say they couldn't be happier.

"I've been anticipating it for three years now, since when it was announced in July 2007," said Dan Reid of Intuitive Environmental Solutions, a Fort Myers-based mold-assessing company. "It's going to take out a lot of people who in my opinion should not be doing it. They took the four- or eight-hour course and they are now 'certified.'" From news-press.com.
