(Wood Dale, IL, July 6, 2010) – DKI Services Corporation, the parent company of Disaster Kleenup International, Inc., announced today that they have concluded their first ever Traveling Triangle contest on Facebook.

To support its vision of establishing the Triangle as the most trusted brand in the worldwide disaster planning and restoration market, DKI held its first ever Traveling Triangle contest. On January 15, 2010, fans of DKI’s Facebook page were invited to request a FREE stress reliever triangle and take pictures of the triangle wherever and whenever they traveled. Fans then submitted their pictures to be entered into the contest.

There were hundreds of entries received and many were posted on DKI’s Facebook page throughout the duration of the contest. The DKI triangle traveled to many places throughout the United States, including California, Mississippi, Florida, Illinois, New York City, and Las Vegas, and even traveled internationally to Europe, Africa and South America.

The submissions had to be received by April 30, 2010 and the employees of DKI selected 10 images that were placed on Facebook for fans to vote on. Prizes went to the top three submissions that received the most votes with the winning entry receiving $500, the second place winner receiving $250 and the third place winner receiving $100 in gift cards.

The third place winning picture was taken by Tony Sergio of First Response Disaster Restoration Specialists. The photo was taken on the second highest mountain in Sierra Leone, Africa. The second place winning picture was taken by Jody Runge of RestorX of Washington. It was taken at the Kerry Park Viewpoint on W. Highland Drive & 3rd Ave West in Seattle, Washington. Due to the subject matter and concerns expressed by the subjects, DKI is unable to release additional details about the first place winner.

Due to its success, DKI has decided to hold its second Traveling Triangle contest on Facebook beginning July 1, 2010. Visit www.disasterkleenup.com to join DKI’s Facebook page or for more information on DKI.
