Ivi Sims is a passionate advocate for improving indoor environmental quality (IEQ) and providing cutting-edge solutions for the restoration industry. With over 25 years of hands-on experience in wood floor drying, major loss mitigation, and large-scale mould remediation, Ivi has become a trusted expert in moisture management, ventilation design, and restoration practices.

As the founder of BULCS Holdings Pty Ltd and Building Environmental Wellness Group (BEWG t/a BRII Training), Ivi has dedicated the past five years to advancing the industry by supplying specialized equipment for water, fire, mould, trauma, biosafety, indoor air quality (IAQ), HVAC, building restoration, and flooring contractors. In addition, he established The Building Restoration Inspection Institute (BRII), a training platform designed to elevate industry standards and equip professionals with the knowledge and skills needed for success.

Ivi holds multiple prestigious certifications, including RIA’s Water Loss Specialist® (WLS), Content Loss Specialist (CLS), and Certified Mold Professional (CMP), as well as IICRC Master Water Restorer (MWR), Master Fire and Smoke Restorer (MSR), and Master Textile Cleaner (MTC). Her expertise extends to industry leadership, where she actively contributes to IICRC standards (S760, S230, S220 and Health & Safety – Cleaner/Restoration) and participates in IAQ & Building Science STG within AIRAH. She is also a founding member of the Australian IAQAA chapter, A board of Director of IAQA and serves on the ATFA (VIC) committee, focusing on training initiatives for the flooring sector.
