Dustin Resendiz

Dustin began in the restoration industry in 2011, working as a water technician for a large franchise, and quickly rose to supervisory positions. He then moved on to work with a privately owned restoration company as co-owner and manager of the mitigation department. Dustin has worked on residential losses of all types and commercial losses, including major clients such as FedEx and Amazon. His industry experience includes everything from water damage, mold, reconstruction, and remodeling. In 2017, Dustin formed his own full-service restoration company, which has been quite successful.

One of the things that sets Dustin apart is his prior experience before entering the restoration industry. Dustin is unique in that he is bilingual, fluent in English and Spanish. He taught English to high school students at a private school in Mexico for two years and worked for the Mexican government doing community outreach and humanitarian work. During that time, Dustin met his wonderful wife, Yesenia, and became the father of a beautiful 9-year-old daughter, Penelope.

In his free time, he enjoys playing soccer, surfing, golfing, and exercising. Dustin is not only excited to be an IICRC-approved instructor, but also honored to be able to teach the WRT course to a vastly underserved market within the industry.

Dustin comenzó en la industria de la restauración en 2011, trabajando como técnico en agua para una gran franquicia, y rápidamente ascendió a puestos de supervisión. Luego pasó a trabajar con una empresa de restauración de propiedad privada como copropietario y gerente del departamento de mitigación. Dustin ha trabajado en pérdidas residenciales de todo tipo y en pérdidas comerciales, incluyendo clientes importantes como FedEx y Amazon. Su experiencia en la industria incluye todo, desde daños por agua, moho, reconstrucción y remodelación. En 2017, Dustin formó su propia empresa de restauración de servicio completo, la cual ha sido bastante exitosa.

Una de las cosas que distingue a Dustin es su experiencia previa antes de entrar en la industria de la restauración. Dustin es único en el sentido de que es bilingüe, fluido en inglés y español. Enseñó inglés en México a estudiantes de secundaria en una escuela privada durante dos años, y trabajó para el gobierno mexicano realizando labores de alcance comunitario y trabajo humanitario. Durante ese tiempo, Dustin conoció a su maravillosa esposa Yesenia y se convirtió en padre de una hermosa niña llamada Penélope, su hija de 9 años.

En su tiempo libre, le gusta jugar fútbol, surfear, jugar golf y hacer ejercicio. Dustin no solo está emocionado de ser un instructor aprobado por el IICRC, sino también se siente honrado de poder enseñar el curso WRT a un mercado muy desatendido dentro de la industria.
