In just the last few weeks, I have witnessed some very creative marketing and employee appreciation ideas from restoration companies across the country, and wanted to share a few.

Let’s talk marketing first.

Roth Construction in Cleveland, Ohio, sent March Madness care packages to contacts and potential clients. Inside, there was candy (hello Snowcaps!), movie theater popcorn, a March Madness bracket to fill out and enter their challenge, and more.

At Just Right Cleaning & Construction in Moses Lake, Wash., they wrapped a go cart to look like one of their trucks! It is a big hit at parades, and has been known to show up elsewhere at surprising times as well – to the delight of everyone watching.

PHC Restoration

PHC Restoration celebrated women with these sweet succulents and hand-written notes.

Talking employee appreciation, PHC Restoration celebrated annual Women in Construction day with handwritten note and cute little succulents sprinkled across the desks of the rockstar women on their team!

And taking it back to Roth Construction, which is known for giving out employee goody bags regularly, they had cereal day! Instead of giving out bags of candy, they bought a bunch of boxes of childhood cereal favorites (you know, the ones with marshmallows and the most sugar). But it didn’t stop there! What was the best part of cereal boxes back in the day? Prizes inside! So, the boxes were stuffed with grocery, gas, restaurant, and other gift cards for their team to enjoy. Why? Just because it was another day in restoration and they wanted to show their team they care!
