CCRN says surpasses $25M in cost savings

April 19, 2010

The Certified Contents Restoration Network (CCRN) announced today that it has surpassed the $25,000,000 mark in regard to the cost savings it has provided insurance companies in North America.

The CCRN is a network of over 200 restoration contractors across North America certified in the operation of the patented and proprietary Esporta Wash System for soft contents restoration. The Esporta Wash System enables CCRN members to restore more than 85% of soft contents that would typically be deemed unrecoverable and cashed out by insurance companies – including Category 3 damage.

“We are very proud of the fact that we have developed a technology that can now restore what was once lost,” states Randall Rhode, Founder and CEO. “And, we know that insurance companies are more than happy to be able to delight their customers and save money at the same time.”

According to the CCRN website - www.RestoreDontReplace.com – the average cost savings per property claim is now more than $6,000. They calculate the total amount of savings by subtracting the cost of the Esporta restoration process from the estimated replacement value of the items that would have typically been cashed out. The technology is also hailed as being “Green’ due to the fact that the restoration process has resulted in over 251 dump truck loads (203 tons/3,006 cubic yards) of soft contents not ending up in the landfill.

The statistics for savings are reported monthly by the more than 200 member restoration contractors in the United States and Canada. Restoration contractors include members from Paul Davis Restoration, Disaster Kleenup International, FirstOnSite Restoration, Winmar Property Restoration, Disaster Kleenup Canada, Steamatic Restoration, and a wide variety of independent operations.

The goal of the CCRN is to change the paradigm for the settlement of soft contents claims by restoring smoke, soot and sewage damaged soft contents to food grade cleanliness. Independent studies have confirmed that the patented Esporta Wash System is able to clean soft contents with Category 1, 2 and 3 damage to “food grade cleanliness”.

The CCRN provides research and development, testing, validation, training and certification to its members, and conducts marketing and lobbying on behalf of its members within the insurance restoration industry.
