1‐800‐PACK‐RAT, LLC, a service leader in portable storage and moving solutions, creates online personalized portable storage containers each year to honor those who have battled, or are currently battling breast cancer. This year, they will continue this campaign and will also donate $5 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) for every request received in October, up to $500.

Breast Cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among women with one in eight being diagnosed at some point in their lifetime. Each year, over 246,000 women in the US alone will be diagnosed, along with an estimated 2,600 men. While these statistics paint a dismal picture, there is hope; there are over 2.8 million breast cancer survivors living in the US today and death rates have been declining since 1990.

“It is very important for all of us at 1‐800‐PACK‐RAT to give back to our communities. Some of our employees have faced and defeated this battle head‐on recently, and many of us have family and loved ones currently fighting the battle”, said James Burati III, Sr. VP Sales and Marketing with 1‐800‐PACK‐ RAT. “This is why we wanted to do something to celebrate those who have fought, as well as those fighting, and raise some money to help even more people beat this disease.”

Each month 1‐800‐PACK‐RAT creates themed portable storage containers that can be personalized with someone’s name and shared on social media platforms to honor them and show that they are inspiring their family and friends. This October, for the first time, they will donate $5 for each request received. The goal is to create 100 personalized containers and donate $500 to NBCF which will provide five mammograms for women in need.
