The course will introduce some "marketing language" used to promote one drying technology over another and we will then dive into the thermodynamic principles of causing a state change in liquid water causing evaporation. we will then do a small example of how to cause this to happen utilizing some props in the class to show evaporation occurring using heat then vacuum and then pressure differentials and we will relate these to the equipment being used in the field. This course will not endorse one piece of equipment brand or technology over another it will actually teach the students that all pieces of equipment have a place and actually the geography of your location and the season dictate preference much more than any instructor or manufacturer should.  The class will end with a recap of what was learned and some open questions and answers time from the crowd.
