Orlando, Florida -- EMLab P&K, a Test America company, and Philders Group Intl Inc have formed a strategic alliance to create RAP.

RAP or Risk Assessment Program will address infection control protocol for construction in healthcare facilities as a means and method for Best Practices. 5000-7000 people die annually as a result of infections caused by improper containment of airborne pathogens during construction.

“These courses will be offered throughout the U.S. in 2010 as workshops and webinars for continuing education credits. Our goal is to increase awareness about emerging infectious diseases during healthcare construction and provide tools to reduce risk and manage liability. Courses benefit Risk Mangers, Facility Directors, Property Managers, Architects, Engineers, Environmental Consultants, Contractors, and Patient Safety Officers,” the company stated.

Philders Group International Inc is a scientific, engineering and environmental consulting firm for infectious diseases based in Central Florida. They author policy and procedures, training, and continuing education to keep corporations compliant for exposure risks to infectious diseases during real work time. They have authored articles for various healthcare trade publications on infectious disease issues such as Kimberly Clark Worldwide™, ASHRAE Journal and Advanced Long Term Care Management.
